Adam Mentzer earned his B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno before graduating cum laude from Willamette University College of Law with his J.D. and Certificate in Law and Government. Mr. Mentzer handles a variety of general civil litigation matters with a focus on landlord-tenant law, real estate, and contract disputes.
Prior to joining Warren Allen LLP, Mr. Mentzer garnered a wealth of knowledge in low-income housing tax credits, federally subsidized housing, fair housing, administrative law, and landlord-tenant law while working as the Compliance Manager for Salem Housing Authority and as a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oregon. Mr. Mentzer has attained numerous certifications from affordable and subsidized housing industry leaders, including his Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P), Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS), and Voucher Program Management (NMA V.P.M.) certifications from Spectrum Seminars, Inc., the National Center for Housing Management, and Nan McKay and Associates, Inc., respectively. Mr. Mentzer utilizes his diverse background to guide landlords through complex issues created by the intersection of local, state, and federal law.
Outside of the office, Mr. Mentzer has many hobbies, including object manipulation, reading, sewing, running, and hiking with his wife and husky.
