A graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law, George A. McCoy specializes in
personal injury law. He is a native of the Portland area. Licensed in both Oregon and Washington, Mr. McCoy handles a variety of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, and medical malpractice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McCoy practiced law in rural Eastern Oregon, gaining a wealth of experience in a variety of legal areas.
In 2021, Mr. McCoy was recognized as one of the top trial lawyers in America, as he became part of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. This prestigious membership is granted only to attorneys who secure a settlement or verdict for a client where the client receives more than 1 million dollars after costs and attorney fees, a feat achieved by less than 1 percent of attorneys. Mr. McCoy has resolved $360,000,000 in claims.
In addition to personal injury law, Mr. McCoy oversees the wildfire litigation, complex litigation, personal injury, and medical malpractice practices at Warren Allen.
Mr. McCoy currently lives in southwest Washington with his wife and their four children. He is a published author. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys soccer and is a huge Portland Trail Blazers fan.
